Thanks for your comments. I was looking at the pictured in the book "Inglis Diamond" and the decal looks pretty good as well. It is my understanding that the gun offered in trade was purchased from Simpson Ltd. Galesburg, IL a couple of years back. The one listed in the book was courtesy of the Centre for Forensic Sciences in Toronto. Do you know if the Centre for Forensic Sciences in Toronto is some kind of museum? I just wonder how Simpson obtained this gun from the Centre for Forensic Sciences. I compared the gun pictured in the book ant the gun offered to me and they both have the same dings/markings. I am pretty sure that it is the same gun, but how did it get here?
