Default Borchardt On Film!

The movie: "Planeta Burg", made in Russia in 1962. Re-dubbed by Roger Corman and released in the U.S. in 1965 as "Voyage to the Prehistoric Planet".

Set in the year 2020, a three-ship convoy of Cosmonauts voyage to the planet Venus. While they are there they are beset by some dinosaurs, which they proceed to shoot at with their pistols.

In a very brief scene, one of the Cosmonauts is seen in medium-closeup to be firing a C-93 Borchardt!

The front of the gun is dressed so it "reads" better visually; although it is seen slightly in perspective, it is clearly a Borchardt. In this comparison picture one can clearly identify the spring housing and the frame which holds it; the lanyard loop; the toggle knob extension; the frame rail extending forward; the vertical safety bar; and the screw above the trigger.

This Borchardt is a full-firing weapon. There is one frame which catches the action working; this image-processed view clearly shows the toggle moving to its "up" position, with the spent shell ejecteing above it.
