Luger lanyard

Walt,

I am not going to be much help, but I have never seen an original Luger lanyard. The picture in Still's "Third Reich Luger" does not show it up good enough to tell. I have read that the Cavalry had them early on and then stopped using them. They were not used much in the Third Reich era. Be careful on this. You may want to call Ralph Shattuck and see if he may be of help to you.
