Default Artillery luger holster

just got a complete Artillery rig. Have a question on the holster that came with the gun. Most holsters I have seen for the artillery rigs have been a hard shell smooth leather, this holster is a soft shell pig skin (little bumps), it is marked MAURY & CO, OFFENBACH/M, 1915. is this a rare holster or not? what would this sell for? Thanks for any help.

Mike, These soft Maury holsters were only made in 1915, so are definately scarce. They are also unique in construction, they way the top cover is stiched in the corners. TH

Mike, If they are little bumps like the surface of a football, it is not pikskin but pebble grained leather.
Price of one of these varies due to color and condition but a thousand bucks is not out of the realm of possibilities. Post or Email me a photo and I could be more specific. Jerry Burney
