it is good to see a posting from you! I have not seen anyfrom you lately. I hope you and the family are doing well!

From the description of your holster, it does sound like a reworked holster as you stated. Since the pistol is a WWI vintage, the Weimar Era used a number of reworked holsters. I have seen one holster that had the bottom (barrel end) squared off as you described and the work was excellent. I wish I gad bought the holster because I have been looking for a nice reworked holster for sometimes. I have no idea on the magazine, maybe someone else can help on that.
