"Joining the ranks" question

I've come to rely on this board quite a bit of late and I've decided that's it's only right to pay for the privledge. There has been some great advice given to me by the good members here and it's time I pulled my own weight, to what little extent I can (considering how little I can offer information-wise).

So I went to the "donate" section to donate to this worthy cause, but no suggested amounts are given. I realize that it's up to the contributor, but without some kind of benchmark it's hard to come up with an appropriate figure. Can anyone give me an idea of what's considered the proper amount? You can PM me if you'd rather not post an answer.
