As a few of you know - (well - probably many of you if you were reading Thor's posts late last week on this Board ) we are developing a P38 dedicated site.
Similar in format to the Luger Forum board, I have just put up that new discussion Board at: http://boards.rennlist.com/cgi-bin/P38/P38.pl In short - the new Board looks a lot like this Board since they both reside in the same systems/servers and I used the same core code between the two... While DOK has his hands full with volunteering for the Luger Forum site/Board - I'll initially be doing the design/support of the new P38 site.. When it is fully operational, I'll publish the full website URL (yes - I did purchase the P38FORUM.COM URL recently, but I do not have it programmed yet for the look-up into the P38 Website I'm designing ) So - feel free to pop on over and give the new Board a whirl if you are interested in P38 topics/discussions! Best to all, John D. P38 Discussion Board |

John, you have opened Pandora's box now! Next Ted will want a Walther PPK site, then who knows what else?

Actually no, there was just so much interest in P.38s that we will get most of the P.38 discussions moved where they belong, on another forum! Thor

We have to be careful..we will put the fine publication by NAPCA out of business. Or, we will start seeing the same articles in AutoMag as we see here. Seriously, it is really nice to have this kind of discussion going on constantly. Waiting for a monthly periodical takes forever and it gets read twice in the first twenty minutes. Somehow I have a feeling that there will be room for PP and PPK in the P.38 forum (if I know Ted at all).

Bill, I sure hope not! I dont see puting NAPCA out of business, the articles in NAPCA are by people that dont participate, in general, in the forum circuit so a variation should continue between the information shared here and in the Automag, they are talking about 1909 Erfurts and other guns I havent seen mentioned here. I hope we dont anyway! Bill, I must leave the format up to John Dunkle, he is the WM and his say is final IMO! I see much more interest in P.38s than PPKs and PPs so I just dont see the volume of discussions happening! We do have quite a few people that are really knowledgeable in P.38s to draw info from! It will be fun! Thor
