Hi Ed,
Nice 1900, what's the serial number? I am still very interested in the whole test Luger scenario. I know that nobody, or at least nobody so far, really has it work out. I have one 1900 test that I am sure is a test gun, on the Bannerman list (SN 6437). I have another that I didn't think was when I bought it, but Dwight has convinced me that it is (SN 7857). If guns with that high a seral number were test guns then what about the 6100 to 7100 guns? Some either are not test guns or there were a lot of "replacement guns" to make up more than 1,000. The Bannerman list rules out the 6100 to 7100 only theory as it contains 9 gun out side that range. It was speculated that replacements could account for the 9 (7101 to 7108 and 7147) on the Bannerman list. But guns all the way up to 7857, and maybe higher, seems like a stretch. What are other's opinions? How do we explain the non Germany marked 1900's?

Comments anyone?
