Ron, I forgot about straight razors......when the change to the safety type razor took place some years ago, I hit every barber shop in town (4 then) and bought theirs stocks of obsolete straight razors. Most were in sorry condition and have since been moved along, I got a couple of pristine ones in their boxes here on display in my model airplane/tea set/money/bayonet show case..........You guys w/ PP/PPk guns, I have an interesting pair, one select fire 380 w/1940 Commercial proofing. Rankin has some comments on these in one of his books, mine is complete and functioning, and a factory engraved PPk w/'EH' intertwined on the fore strap in a 1" oval, standard oak leaf design, blued, one of 15 or so existing pistols made in late '43/early '44. I have told many lookers that it was 'Eva' Hitlers gun and most bought it!!!!!! Had to tell them otherwise before they left........ Stymie, Sunday past, after church, three of us, wife included, killed a bunch of clays w/Browning Pigeon Broadway and Win. 101 Pigeon and a lowly Rem 1100. Shot spray paint cans at 80 yds w/FN 49 and BM 59 semis in 308. Then ran 400 rnds 308 through my Jap 99. Bob Naess made my extra barrels into 308s last year. I have a US 50 conversion for my Russian DShK almost finished. Your Lionel train set must have been a prewar standard gauge, as they had a tendency for the wheels to rot off from poorly mixed metals, O gauge locos were prone to the same problem but not so many were made as standard during the problem era...............
