Definitely do not "refinish it". Instead, have Thor RESTORE it, and I guarantee you the gun you get back will be the apple of your eye. I had Thor restore my 1917 Erfurt, and it is an absolute joy to behold. I am in the process of building my Luger collection from Thor restored guns. If you have any doubt, I suggest you go to Ted's Luger Strawing Service website and look at the before and after photos.
