Anybody know what they are worth? Found one in 95-98%, Missing lanyard ring(staple). Stuffed in what appears to be a Walther PP(unmarked)WWII style holster. The guy said he wants $250.00 for the works. I'm thinking about it!

Ron,
That sounds like a good deal to me. I paid $695 for one that is in near unissued 99%, all matching, two magazines and the correct brown holster in very excellent condtion. $295 for the one as you describe it sounds like a pretty good price to me. Some of the Kriegsmodells did not have the lanyard loop. Is the one you are looking at all matching? The five digit serial number will appear just once on the right frame above the trigger. Other components will have assembler marks (numbers) from one to three digits and may not be related to the serial number. The right barrel at the front will have the military test proof eagle over circle swastika. The waffenamt military acceptance mark will be either WaAD20 or WaA251 depending on serial number. Hope this helps some. Good Luck! |
