Hello Tom A.,
From my reading in Jan C. Still's "Weimar Lugers", I think I have gathered the following : (But, I could be all wrong here...) L. - stands for Lanjagerei (rural constabulary). P. - stands for Potsdam. Th. - stands for ______________(?) Thuringen ? Nr. - stands for ______________ (?) Number ? 172 - is the luger's issue number. |
