Ron,

Thanks eversomuch for the tutorial, its really great work. I wondered what those little straps on the leather were for! Yours looks like a very nice rig, to boot.

I am now even more curious about the steel loop at the back end of the top telescoope rod. Yours looks like it has a small stud through it, mine is loose and has a hole there. Threaded? Stud? Inserted from the bottom? or...??
