Ron is right, the back is the key. Tom Armstrong and I discussed this at length and neither of us could see any stitch lines where belt straps might have been and a stock block replaced.
Doubs, I had the seller measure the top stitch line to the toe and it was the proper length for an Imperial Navy, 10 and three quarters of an inch. We all miss something from time to time and I am certainly guilty! Pete, Yes that was a little subtle! I figured if the 7" rod fit into the rod case and there was a couple of inches left it had to be a little longer than for a 4"! It actually looked like a Navy to me from the start but the low bids had me wondering... Jerry Burney
