Daniel, Your description leaves a little more to the imagination than not. Black, brown holster? Soft shell? tear drop flap? Brass or steel studs? 4" or 6"? Pigskin and pebble grain are two different animals. Pig has slots or dimples where the hair was taken off and the leather can stiffen, sort of akin to cardboard. Pebble grain is applied while the leather is wet to create a raised pebble effect. Man made. Generally this leather is softer. There should be no boot involved with this stock...Imperial Navy stock rigs did not have a boot or any attachment to cover the stock attaching metal. Someone has defaced your stock by boring a screw hole and attaching leather to it. I would like to see photo's of this rig if you can manage it. Enquiring minds want to know...Jerry Burney
