I think it might be real. I have one almost exactly like it except: 1)Mine does not have a flap over the magazine pocket; 2)Mine has a single wide belt loop; 3)The toe (where the barrel goes) of the holster for sale looks to be a tad wider side-to-side than the one I have. The construction of Bulgarian holsters varies widely. Some are well made and others are pretty shoddy, and I have seen a fair amount of variation in the details, so this one probabaly is legit. Mine came with an '08 Bulgarian in it.

Its legit, IMHO. Have several and they do come in wide varieties. Have one with Full flap, like the FN clam shell type. Odd folks, those Bulgars...

I agree entirely.
I have four bulgarian holsters of which two are similar to the one pictured. They do indeed vary slightly. This one for sale seems to be in a rare excellent condition. These holster are under rated and valued. I think they will become more appreciated over time. They can be purchased from $40 to $150 depending on condition. I bought a few of mine from Tom Heller. He might still have a few in stock. One holster I also got with a 95% 1908 all matching with spare mag ! Rgds, Alain P.S.: I will soon master my digital camera and send pics. |
