I looked very hard. The body is cut exactly as my DLU 1942. The lifting strap is not exposed on mine when the flap is buckled down ( my holster is quite worn ), the bottom of the belt loops are attached a little lower than mine and the flap is positioned slightly different. I think these differences could be possible as they are individual parts stiched together by different people. The stitching on the body is identical. The stud on my DLU 1942 loading tool pouch is brass. It does not appear to be brass on the one offered. I am not an expert, but it looks real nice to me. Just later than mid 1942.
