Dr. Frank,
I'm by no means a Navy expert...as my primary area of collecting is III Reich Lugers. I have seen a couple of Navy pistols of the Nazi Era and all of them had a Navy acceptance mark somewhere. Some pistols I've seen had the Kriegsmarine Proofmark ( with the large M ) on the left side of the frame on the flat area... Mark
