My 1908 is almost a twin to the pics Tom posted last month and only a few numbers from his. The only difference between the two is mine does not have Germany stamped on the barrel. I really prefer the WW1 Lugers to WW2. The finish and bluing is so much better than the later ones. The Navy is the only long frame Luger that I have. I can't afford to collect all of the different variants, still have a kid in college. You must set your goal to acquire a Navy. A Luger looks better with a 6" barrel. larry |
