I had one of the Stoeger look likes and it didn't break or shed pieces. On the other hand it averaged two jams per magazine full, not far behind the 380 AMT that was my all time champ for jamming. It was quite accurate when it did go bang, but wondering if it would or wouldn't throws you off your stride.

I currently have an Erma in 32 ACP and so far it has not broken, has not shed any bits and pieces, and has not jammed. Perhaps they put a little more effort into the centerfire version.

I find the centerfire version (At least mine, with wood grips.) looks more Luger like than the 22, even though it is smaller. The 22 is approximately full sized.
