Post Interarms Mauser Question. Markings? Value?

I have two new aquisitions...
Both Swiss Frames...One 4" and One 6" with the original boxes...
The 4" has the Germany address on the box and also has "SAFE" on the safety.."Loaded" Extr...9mm SN 6XXX

The 6" has "Interarms" on the box and "Geshiert" on the safety.."Geladen" Extr..9mm SN 9xxx

Both guns are marked "Interarms" on the frame..

Why the difference in markings????

I am going to sell one of them...Next question..which one? and any idea of value..Both are in NEW or like new condition...as they appear unfired..

Thanks in advance for the input...Ken

Hello Ken,
The Mauser Parabellum(s) produced for European market have the German words GESICHERT and GELADEN.
The models made for the exportation in USA have the words SAFE and LOADED.
This is the theory, but can happen that models originally foreseen for the European market were exported in USA. This justifies the fact that you have the pistol in â??Europeanâ? configuration.
For the price, I suggest to you to have a look at the Simpson web site where you can find several Mauser Parabellum for sale.
In my web site I have a section dedicated to the Mauser Parabellum; you can have a look to see other models.
Ciao
Mauro
