I have two Mitchells and a Stoeger. The Mitchell magazines are fully interchangable with vintage magazines. I bought a few extras for use in my vintage Lugers.

The Stoeger will not accept a vintage magazine nor will the Stoeger magazine work in a Mitchell or vintage Luger. It is my guess that Stoeger instigated this change in order to have a captive market for extra magazines.
