Doubs... we seldom disagree... but on the stock lug I have to...

I am sure that they will eliminate the stock lug on special order... but if someone wanted to be able to stock a Stainless Luger (paying the appropriate $200 NFA Tax) think of the work involved in ADDING a stock lug if the protrusion were not there... I imagine that if you special ordered it... the manufacturer would even finish the stock lug...

Since the simulated stock lug can be ground off by a relative amateur gunsmith and then polished to the contours you find attractive, and because there would be no refinishing required... I would not want to see the stock lug boss eliminated by the manufacturer... The stock lug boss doesn't hurt anything and it does look like the majority of the Lugers that were produced...
