For looks alone, I like a 4 3/4 or 5 inch barrel. For sight radius the 6 inch wins. I've never noticed any significant difference in perceived recoil or barrel flip in 4, 5, or inch. The six inch offers around 70 to 100 fps more velocity than the 4 inch. From a machine rest there will be no difference in accuracy.
