Thanks for the scoop on the grips. My 6" 9mm is marked 73 just ahead of the sideplate, the grips are flat sided, fat, and overlap the edges a bit, wood a bit orangish...

They will be a joy when I get them out to Hugh's "grip salon" and they return. It does seem they put some extra attention on the grip details on those "high priced girls" models, that's some nice jewelry...
