If you log in, and then close the browser without logging out, you should be able to get directly back into the message board without having to log in again.
The reason that log-ins were required today was due to some necessary adminstrative setting changes that took place this morning... As of this morning, John D. and I made the decision that starting today, until further notice, in order to access the message board, you must be a registered user... This change in these settings caused a forced login for most registered users on their next attempt to login. For an unspecified amount of time, the discussion software settings were configured so that it was not necessary to login in order to view the message boards, that changed this morning.
