Michael,
thats the way it goes at auctions. You have to come up with a price before the bidding starts and stick to it. If you go over your price, then you end up getting caught up with the emotion of the event and paying way too much.

I just wish that you would have included in the above prices the American dollar conversion. It would be interesting to see what prices are paid in Europe in a currency that I am more familiar with.
