Hi Jerry,
I'd expect a short frame. OTOH I'd not turn my nose up at a long frame 1908 Navy Commercial, if it had provenance. Military contracts were where DWM made their money, and commercial pistols were something of a sideline. It's not unusual to find parts left over from older military runs used in commercial pistols built after the military contract was concluded. The folks at DWN were a frugal lot, and saw no sense in discarding perfectly usable parts Best regards, Kyrie |
