Thanks guys - great info... Marvin, you added a few dimensions that I had not heard before (possibly where they were assembled, as well as KU may stand for a persons name..). I did hear/read that it *may* stand for a Costal flying unit of some sort as well (I'm not sure if that unit was a regular part of the Luftwaffe, however??).. Interesting stuff...!!!


Also - Tom - GREAT info/theory about a second production run of 10,000 - I never heard that before (and thanks for the reference to Gibson's book in Chapter 5 - I guess I'll have to re-read that chapter..!!)! Also, is anyone aware of any other sources of documentation/information on this subject? It would be fun to try to research it as far as the trail leads...
