Chrome S/42G on gunbroker worth any money?

$600 too much for a shooter grade version? Well bloody hell, before I stumbled upon the nice little DWM puppy I got now, I almost considered buying one of Brock’s East German shooters. And the price was $799! Someone should have put a boot to my butt back then. Are any of these Brock’s reworks worth even close to these prices? Here is a photo of the one that I was interested in (a byf 41) that Brock sent me:
