OT...CA. State Gun Laws...

PS,

My long term plan is to leave the State upon retirement. I mean, TO THE DAY! I plan to move to Virginia, but who knows. Alas, I am 15 years from retirement and counting the minutes.

I love my job, just hate the State govenment. Which is ironic since I work for it as a Structures Construction Engineer for the State of California working on the new $1.2 Billion Oakland-San Francisco bridge replacement, I am too vested into the retirement system to want to start my engineering career over again. Even though I could easily make $20,000 more per year in the San Francisco private sector, before bonuses.

That said, I'll be taking my pension elsewhere upon retirement, that's for sure.
