I think they were wrong, the Thompson tests wouldn't be allowed today, would they
. I just know that many gov'ts thought the fast moving and smaller cartridges were the way to go. Plus, the "pistol" was new and the way to advance your force. When the 45 Single Actions were taken away in the Philippians, and replaced by 38's, well those soldiers were a bit upset. I like the larger calibers, that is for sure if I have to have one for defense, <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />
