Pete,

A correspondent from Sweden posted on the old forum abut the Lahti breakage problem. I have heard, and maybe someone can confirm or correct me, that the Finnish Lahti does not have the problems which beset the Husqvarna Lahtis.

Hogg & Weeks note that the design of the Husqvarna version was changed slightly from the Swedish gun, as well as the use of different spec steel. The cracking problem was exacerbated by the adoption of a 9mm smg cartridge as the service round.
