Havw removed and replaced Luger barrels for many years for others and myself. With care and right tools this can be done without a scratch to even a mint finish. Most important is right tools and carefullllllwork. I do not know of any off the shelf tools. I made my own long age then improved on that. Toughest part is holding barrel. The subject of makeing tools [wthout a mill] is lengthy and impossible with out including sketches. If you have A drill press and can tap holes --you can make the tools. For those who are dead serious about this subject; I will be pleased to share sketches of tools and give detailed info by some other medium.
