John,

Although Bobba does show a photo of a Germany LP-08, no mention of Swiss-issued arties is mentioned.

My guess is this is a parts gun that could possibly have gone to Switzerland and had the swiss cross engraved so it could be used at federal shooting ranges & clubs...

If it were made up with an existing swiss receiver, I think the chamber stamping would be nicer and roll-die stamped.

Another possibility is that this gun was made up in "Waffenfabrik, USA" to look like a swiss artillery to catch the un-suspecting...

Eric; having said all that, I think your gun is lovely and must be a lot of fun to shoot...!
