the price is within the going range for a type 2 Trommel at American gun shows. This one seems to be a bit pitted. The British have some tough gun laws and there is no recourse if the magazine isn't as advertized. Don't be afraid to ask questions like 'has the magazine been plugged to hold fewer rounds?'. The guy has a pretty good track record. I only have a type 1 Trommel to compare. So I see that the side of the drum that has the screw has concentric circles in the one for sale. My type 1 is flat. That may not mean anything since there were several models of this magazine and three manufactures.
