Yes - both the orientation of the bore marks - and the order of the proof - serial number is absolutely correct....

Except for the ding in the sideplate I mentioned in the second post in this thread, and Big Norm noted as well - it's a fine piece. In several private e-mails, my guess was that it should go for between $3600 - $3900 in the real world - and that given auction frenzy, would probably go for a bit more on an auction site. I just checked the going bid - and I should have a crystal ball <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />
