E-mail Hugh Clark for his mailing address - and send your grip down there... I had the *exact same thing* happen on one of my 1920 Commercial's - and Hugh did a fantastic job repairing mine.. As well - the suggestions for shooting with a replacement set are well founded, for sure!!!
