Do I need matching #'s

I appericate your opinions.
Don't even know the cost of a replacement side cover.

It doesn't effect shoot/value of this luger; but, something inside me wants me to "complete" this old lady. It's like I almost owe it to finish it(while it's in my safe).

Does this sound weird? Of all the guns I own, the luger has the most respect. It has lots of problems(big one is that import mark <img src="graemlins/cussing.gif" border="0" alt="[grrrrrrr]" /> ).
I usually "trick" my guns(scopes/bi-pods/lasers/etc.), but I have left the luger alone. One can't do much about adding assorys-but you can spend alot of $ on finish/condition.

It's about first love. Do I pour everything into this one, or do I start over w/ another?
It's strange to talk, like this, about a gun. But, it's a luger!
