From 3rd Reich Lugers by Still.
1941 (marked just 41) 42's were made in serial range 2500n - 6700r, so yours was made right in the first thousand of that batch, only 7000 were made. Army acceptance stamp should be E/655 Type 3 and Type 4 magazines were made in 1941. The type 4 was specifically made in 1941 and 42. They are period and in my estimation correct. Hopefuly a magazine expert can jump in and answer more definitively. Ed
