Hi Ed, i think that it is from 1917 because:
- it has both adjustment-screws
- it has the new (since August? 1916) short release-lever, not ground like my Erfurt.
- it has the number 2867 a
because the number it is an early one, either from early-1916 or early-1917. And the short release-lever makes me think, that it is from 1917. But what about the numbering in a period of a year? Wasn't it so, that the numbers were hit till march or april of the following year? Is it possible, that it is a 1916-Ari? Your opinions. Dieter <img src="graemlins/c.gif" border="0" alt="[ouch]" />
