Hi George, et al.

My DWM hat has lasted 9 years so far. I've noticed a little bit of fraying on the front edge of the bill...but yesterday I saw that it has developed a couple of threadbare holes in the top. I would not have guessed that the top of my bald pate was so abrasive as to cause such wear,, but it is what it is.

Since I may not be the only Luger lover whose hat is wearing out, I'll ask two questions. 1) would anyone else be interested in a new one? 2) Will Mr. Anderson be so kind as to divulge the name and contact info for the enterprise he used?

I would also explore the possibility of having DWM patches made for us, as Zorba mused. How many of those could we use?

Cheers,

David

One word, Dave - T-Shirts!!! Sweats!!!

My Luger and Nambu T-shirts have been relegated to nightshirts now - the logos have all faded.

My Erfurt hat is pristine - I've never worn it! (It's on my bookshelf with my Harold Coyle books).

Hi Dave,
I would like getting a hat but would rather have something like white or gold embroidery on a black hat. Kenny

And no buttons on the top, please. Earmuffs mash the button into my tender little noggin.

Someone will have to take this mantle on, Geo has aged a bit and I don't think he visits anymore.

The button is readily removed. I do it to all the hats I wear. A quick pinch with the blade jaws of a big set of pliers and the button pops off of the internal attachment.
