To me this gun letter suffix is hard to read. Is it G? It does look like it has been hit there twice.

The Finn Lugers were taken from standard alphabet series commercial production and the first deliveries were from the k block and up. Therefore your suffix letter is not a g but is possibly a q. The highest block delivered to the Finns was t.

Alphabet Commercial Parabellums are sometimes found with a crown overstamp of the serial letter suffix. It looks like it might be the case with this pistol. Could you post a closeup picture of just the frame serial number? --Dwight |
