Old Model Carbines, as Ed said. These begin round sn Also a series of Old Model pistols with long barrels, stock lug with stock, and experimental 6-position rear sight, in the range between sn 10000 and sn 10050, ostensibly for the Chilean army. Sturgess calls these Chilean Carbine prototypes, although they do not fall in the B suffix prototype series. There appear as early as sn 21157.

There are also Old Model carbines in a separate serial number series, some with the Chilean style rear sight, some with a C serial designation, some with the GL hallmark. These are not well documented.
