How difficult is it to replace a Luger's toggle link?

I re used the axle pin and that should not be an issue...support the toggle properly and it drives out with a few smart smacks with a brass flat punch...just make sure the retaining pin is out of the way.

You can cold blue but all of the filing is in areas not seen...the flat areas where the new piece joins the axle/connecter (sides and a bit of facing) and perhaps a bit inside of the toggles where they overhang the extension...that may sound a bit confusing but when you are holding the assembly take your time and you'll note where it binds.

Take your time and don't be aggressive....file /fit etc.... I did cold blue the 'innards' just because.
