No question that safety and responsibility have to be absolute priorities in gun handling. This poster was published during WW-II because of the number of negligent discharges that happened.
Everyone handling Luger pistols should realize that the receiver/barrel assembly with the toggle train installed is, in fact, a complete functional firearm. The English translation is: "Remember there is danger here!"
