I'm glad too. I really wasn't even that interested specifically in the AE models. I considered them out of my price range. I put what I thought to be a real low impossible bid of $1225 on this AE on Gunbroker, never expecting it to win, then I forgot all about it, and low and behold, here comes an email saying I won. The pistol seems to be a pretty decent example of a 123 year old gun, and the only flaws are the top of the front sight, and the broken take down bolt spring. Both replaceable. I'm at a loss to understand why there was no larger interest in this Luger. I've seen other "junker" looking Lugers go for astronomical prices, but this one sold for what I think was a shooter price. I'm definitely not griping, just wondering about my good luck cause it happens rarely with Luger items, and I've never been a very lucky person. I guess even a blind sow gets a few acorns now and then.
