Its an early commercial luger with a 5 digits serial number. We call it an "AE" because the American Eagle image is on the chamber. GERMANY was stamped on it because it was intended for export, probably to the US. 7.65mm is sometimes called .30 cal Luger. It's pretty hard to find right now. It was pretty easy to find on-line two years ago - it seems to go in cycles. If you are a reloader, you can look for the brass. |
