If they are good quality I’ll buy one.

The website (https://lkcillc.com/) has lots of interesting guns. The “revolver shotguns” caught my eye. Mechanism like a double action revolver.

If the company produces an exact reproduction of the P08 and LP08 Luger, why would they not be available as Curio and Relic firearms?

They should qualify.

Can anyone actually confirm that this is the Turkish company "Tisas" or is it possibly some other company?

Any new made firearm, other than muzzle loaders are not eligible for C and R status until they are at least 50 years old. It's just the way it is.

The LKCI website still only offers shotguns as being available
So no progress on the Luger f/s

I like the 5 inch barrel idea. I have a Mauser re-intro with a 5 inch barrel and I think it looks better than a 4 inch.
I have a Tisas "army" 1911, no complaints. It has a better trigger than my fancy Colt "competition" 1911 that is a candidate for a trigger job.

Vaporware, boys, pure and simple. The images on their web site look more like CGI/3D renderings than real guns. Moreover, none of their distributors show these Lugers having ever been stocked. Moreover, if these ever came to market, every gun forum, gun blog, and glossy fish wrapper would be reviewing them. Crickets.

I’m with Doubs too. The cost to produce a Luger today, even in some Third World country would be virtually cost prohibitive; certainly nowhere near their claimed MSRP of $800. (IIRC, but just the frame alone has over 150 separate milling operations.)

Why not buy a real one? By “real”, I not only mean a pre-1945 Luger, but I also mean one that is tangible and actually exists?

If they are at the SHOT show, then it might be possible to get more info. We'll see.

Default SHOT Show

Having been to shot show many times just because a product is there does not mean it will hit the market. I can't tell you the number of times I tried to get T&E gear or info from manufacturers on "new" or released items only to get ghosted and never have them come to market. PSA, Arsenal (Stryk/Archon), Daewoo all have done this to me and many other writers in the industry.

SHOT Show at times is a tax write off and a place for industry people to steal talent from others, and release some rehashed guns in new colors mostly
