If it is the right length, it would make a nice home for a "safe and loaded" commercial.

It is the right length. Stoeger is reputed to have imported 7.65 Lugers in barrel lengths for 75 mm (3 inches) to 600 mm, about 24 inches (wikipedia}

My commercial 1920 has a 3 7/8 (98 mm plus).

Have all the fun you want but there is the Heiser 1772 and it is a Luger holster, if you go to that Heiser Website it does show one in the holster. It is a good fit

Jan Still's Weimar Lugers notes 3 5/8 or 3 3/4 barrel lengths as most common for 1920, for the alphabet commercial most are 3 5/8 inch barrels. Still says Stoeger Lugers had 3 5/8, 4, 6, and 8 inch barrels. I believe the longer barrels reported on Wikipedia above are Pacific Arms import barrels

1929 Commercial are usually found with 3 3/4 barrels, Some are Stoegers [Jan Still, Weimar Lugers p258]

But, I do not know why I bother, you already know it all

Not even a little. I am only an egg. Just meant to point out that the linked site wasn't quite clear on the Metric/alphanumeric equivalent. If I offended you then my apologies. I'm old and resent all young people.

Dave, I don't recall that 'Baby' holster, I'll have to Search for it. CRS, you know...
